Bend in Skenes Creek
Skenes Creek rises in the littoral foothills of the Otway Ranges on the Surf Cost south west of Melbourne, Victoria. It winds its way through rich cattle grazing land and reaches the sea at the eponymous village six kilometres from Apollo Bay. This is a view from Skenes Creek Valley Road which services several farm houses before a gate to a cattle station at the end of a rough track. Oil painting by Dai Wynn on linen on board. 30.5cm high by 40.6cm wide by 0.5cm deep approximately.
