Atlantic at Clifden Eire

Description

A view of the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of Eire, Ireland. This tranquil scene depicts Clifden Bay below the Lower Sky Road in County Galway, west of the town of Clifden. As in most places in this rocky area, dry stone walls divide farm paddocks. Interestingly, many of the stones are white or light-coloured, especially along the tops of the walls. Painted by Dai Wynn after a trip to Eire (The Republic of Ireland).
