Afternoon in the Darebin Wetlands

Description

Late afternoon sunshine blushes the gum trees around a duck pond in the Darebin Wetlands, Alphington, east of Melbourne. This is where my grand-daughter loves to feed the ducks who eagerly flock to the water’s edge immediately they spy her coming with her little tub of oats. Oil painting by Dai Wynn in an impressionist style. Painted on canvas panel. 25.4 cm high by 20.3 cm wide by 0.3 cm deep approximately. (10 inches by 8 inches).
