Description
Oil painting by Dai Wynn of the Matterhorn above Zermatt in early evening. Dai and his wife were dining al fresco on a cheese fondue in this all-electric alpine village in Switzerland as the sun set. On the following morning we took the rack railway to Gornergrat at 3,135m to look up at the Matterhorn and look down on several glaciers as we sipped our coffees on a sunny terrace in very thin air.
