As several artists have opined: “A painting is never finished until it hangs on a collector’s wall’. In 2014, Dai Wynn produced this ink and watercolour painting of the Grand Canal. He recently finessed the details of the scene he photographed on one of his visits to Venice. Sadly, this process reminded him of the perils of international travel during the current pandemic.
