Winter in Grindelwald Switzerland

Description

A winter view of Dorfstrasse (High Street, Main Street) of Grindelwald in Switzerland. On both visits there was no snow, so my reference photographs needed some suggestions from Google Streetview. I recall, having descended by rack railway from Jungfraujoch and the Eiger, we went down this street in search of a lunch spot. We found our food in a basement supermarket, then strolled back along Dorfstrasse to the station and our train ride back to our Interlaken lodgings. Oils on linen panel. 20.3 cm high by 25.4 cm wide by 0.3 cm deep approximately.
