According to Wikipedia, Rob Roy Glacier is a small hanging glacier in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Located about 9 kilometres south of Mount Aspiring – Tititea – hikers can view it up close from the Rob Roy Track. Dai Wynn painted this view from the Wanaka to Raspberry Flat road which takes one to the Matukituki River and the start of the track. Oils on linen on board. 30.5cm high by 40.6cm wide by 0.5cm deep.
