This round tower castle lies close to the right bank of the river Rhine at Lorch, Germany. Maps label it Raumausstattung (Interior Decoration) Frederik Mohr, suggesting that it is a private dwelling or a showroom for how to decorate an ancient castle. It stands as an interesting collection of buildings, probably with a fascinating history. Unfortunately my understanding of the German language precludes my use of online research. (For example, I omitted the letter “u” in my spelling of the name at the foot of the drawing). Nevertheless, it has joined my collection of images of castles, forts and stately houses viewed from a river cruiser on the Rhine.
