Wannon River Western Victoria
The Wannon River flows through Western Victoria near the town of Hamilton. This is country shaped by a history vulcanism where large rocky formations litter the landscape. In this view, the Wannon River flows slowly towards an abrupt descent as a waterfall made famous in a painting by the early artist Louis Buvelot in 1872. Oil painting by Dai Wynn on linen on board. 40.6cm high by 30.5cm wide by 0.5cm deep approximately. Signed at lower right. Unframed.
