Heavy Spring rains in the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, have swollen the normally tranquil waters of Darebin Creek. This is a view of flood waters tumbling over rocks near the creek's confluence with the Birrarung (Yarra River) at Alphington. This is an area of urban forest replete with billabongs, golf courses, lakes and manicured grass.
