Thank you for purchasing artwork from Dai Wynn Fine Art (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We want you to feel confident when purchasing original artworks, prints, and related products through our website.
This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights and our procedures regarding returns, refunds, exchanges, cancellations, shipping damage, and lost items.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all purchases made through our online store, including:
Original artworks
Framed artworks
Commissioned/custom artworks
By placing an order, you agree to this policy.
2. Change of Mind Returns
Because artworks are unique, made-to-order, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind.
However, we may approve a return at our discretion if:
You contact us within 14 days of delivery;
The artwork is returned in its original condition and packaging; and
The item is not a commissioned, custom-made, or final sale item.
If a change-of-mind return is approved:
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer;
Original shipping fees are non-refundable; and
A restocking fee of up to 10% may apply.
3. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
If your artwork arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

Please include:
Your order number;
A description of the issue; and
Clear photographs of the artwork, packaging, and shipping label.
If we determine that the item was damaged in transit or supplied incorrectly, we will, at our discretion:
Replace the item;
Repair the item;
Offer store credit; or
Provide a full or partial refund.
We may require the item to be returned before processing the refund or replacement.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless required by applicable consumer law:
Commissioned or custom artworks
Personalized items
Sale or clearance items
Items marked “Final Sale”
5. Commissions & Custom Artwork
For commissioned or custom artwork:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% may be required before work begins;
Approval of sketches, concepts, or mock-ups constitutes acceptance of the design direction;
Minor revisions may be included as agreed in writing;
Once the final artwork has been approved or delivered, refunds are not available.
If a commissioned project is cancelled after work has commenced, we reserve the right to retain payment for work completed up to the cancellation date.
6. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase unless production or shipping has already commenced.
After this period, cancellations may not be possible.
Custom, commissioned, or made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
Please allow:
10 business days for refund processing; and
Additional time for your bank or payment provider to complete the transaction.
Shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and insurance fees are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product.
8. Return Shipping
If a return is approved:
Customers are responsible for securely packaging the artwork for return;
We strongly recommend tracked and insured shipping; and
We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.

9. International Orders
International customers may be responsible for:
Customs duties;
Import taxes; and
Local handling fees.
These charges are non-refundable.
If an international order is refused or abandoned at customs, any refund may be reduced by shipping, customs, and handling costs incurred.
10. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, limits, or replaces any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including rights relating to faulty or mis-described goods.
For customers in Australia, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
