Rainbow Lorikeet Love Birds - Oils on canvas on hardboard, unframed - 30.5 x 40.6 x 0.5cm

My studio at the foot of Mount Eagle is in an urban forested area of Melbourne's north-east.  The rainbow lorikeet is a frequent resident and flies in noisy flocks, particularly in the Darebin Creek wetlands.  This pair was seen near a small bird box attached to a gum tree, presumably by nature lovers.

Painting is on hardboard so cannot be stretched.
