Litchfield National Park, covering approximately 1,500 km², is near the township of Batchelor, 100 km south-west of Darwin, in the Northern Territory of Australia. Each year the park attracts over 329,000 visitors.
This watercolour painting by Dai Wynn is from a photograph. By zooming in, one can see at least seven people enjoying a refreshing swim in the pools between the waterfalls. I saw absolutely no point in trying to paint people using a microscope and a brush with one hair. Besides, only the heads of the swimmers were visible.
